Join b9 architects for a panel discussion exploring alternative development strategies to preserve Seattle’s existing physical and cultural character while meeting the city’s growing density needs. Rick Mohler of the University of Washington will moderate an esteemed panel, featuring Chris Persons (Executive Director, Capitol Hill Housing), Jessica Clawson (McCullough Hill Leary), Quanlin Hu (Senior Urban Planner), Matt Hutchins (CAST Architecture), and more. The panel will go in depth about design strategies, economic motivations, incentivizing responsible development, and cultural displacement in existing communities. Reinforced by an exhibit of b9 architects’ continuing research on current Seattle zoning, these topics will all frame the conversation around public trust and development.
This event will be recorded. Instructions on how to access it will be on B9 Architects website after the event.
