  • Trust is rarely a concept that occupies our minds until we are given a reason to question it. After the suspicion of validity is introduced, we are flooded with constant restlessness that is not easily settled. We invite you to explore this feeling of indecision through The Trust Maze, where you can confront your confidence in society’s most basic behavior. Upon entering The Trust Maze, you are confronted with a directional arrow pointing toward one of two similar paths. One leads directly through the exhibit and the other to a dead-end corridor. You can choose to trust the direction or not with the path you take. After navigating the maze, you are provided the ability to change the arrows direction for the next user or keep it the same. Whether questioning the arrow’s validity or choosing your own path, The Trust Maze is in fact an interactive experience that will chronicle the decisions of users throughout the Block Party. Your decision of trusting the arrow or not and then setting what direction the arrow is pointing for the next person will allow us to explore your feelings of indecision in a deeper context.
