Material Transparency is TRUST explores the theme of material ingredient transparency as it relates to human and environmental health. It takes the shape of an interactive journey composed of hanging panels of varying opacity with informative text to educate the audience. Many building materials contain ingredients that have been shown to negatively affect human health. The Healthy Materials Collaborative envisions a healthier planet and improved human health through the use of healthy materials. This installation provides an opportunity for the public to learn facts about current issues for building materials, as well as solutions and actions that we can all make.
