  • Blind Trust encourages people to share physical space and ideas, and to approach each with honesty and vulnerability. The user will tear a piece of paper off a surrounding wall and respond to a question, revealing something about themselves. They will then walk past uneven, jagged walls into a confined space. Entering this safe space represents overcoming the barriers of insecurity and shame that box us into a fixed perspective. Next, the user will attach that paper to the center structure to create a collection of each person’s perspective. As more join, the woven walls will become visible, representing a group that has been connected to one another. The center pole will continue to rise, demonstrating the power that comes from trusting in others and celebrating a community that has come together as one.
