2018 was a year of TRUST and EXPANSION
The 2018 Seattle Design Festival gathered 21,000+ attendees, 145 partners, 90+ programs and installations, and 20+ design disciplines that explored design and TRUST.
Imagine Africatown: Central District Design Weekend gathered designers, planners, developers, and community members of all ages to vision and design a future that celebrates and preserves Black/African diaspora culture in the Central District.
Displaced: Design for Inclusive Cities – a global design competition called upon designers of all disciplines to apply the power of design thinking to the urgent need to welcome and empower urban immigrants and refugees.
